Have you had your Covid jab? Almost certainly not. Thankfully, the vaccine is not being pushed on healthy people any more. Starting this THURSDAY, I will be publishing EXCLUSIVE inside information about the jab. Drawn from WhatsApp messages I obtained from the then health secretary Matt Hancock, the information sheds new light on government priorities during the pandemic.

Which mattered more: politics or public health?

The Vaccine Files will offer some insight into that question. I will reveal how the government handled serious safety and efficacy concerns, and very much more.

WHY NOW?

For years, the establishment doggedly refused to acknowledge that these emergency vaccines – developed at unprecedented speed - caused a small but significant number of individuals serious harm. This is just a fact. Indeed, a number of individuals literally died as a direct result of the vaccine. We know this from Coroners’ Courts. Several of these fatalities took place early in the roll-out, but the media refused to report them.

There were many reasons for this silence.

Throughout the pandemic, the government was the single biggest media advertiser, spending untold millions of public cash on full-page adverts in newspapers and slots on prime-time television. At a time when other advertising was falling off a cliff, this kept the press going. The government was desperate to maintain public confidence in the jab – and did everything in its power to silence what it considered ‘misinformation’ about serious side effects.

Naturally, editors were wary of biting the hand that fed. Quite rightly, they also wanted to act responsibly. It did not take much to persuade media bosses that ‘scare stories’ could discourage people from getting the jab, which in turn would ‘lead to more deaths’. As a result, there was a near-total shutdown of reporting these matters.

Ministers used every tool at their disposal to quash debate, smearing those who dared ask difficult questions as “anti-vax” cranks. The operation was highly effective.

Fast forward four years and attitudes have changed. Even the BBC – a shameless cheerleader for the vaccination programme – now openly reports inquests into Covid-related vaccine deaths. For its part, the NHS has quietly dropped the Astra Zeneca jab and has stopped encouraging people to have alternatives.

The looming appointment of Robert F. Kennedy Junior – one of America’s most prominent Covid vaccine sceptics - as the next Secretary of Health and Human Services in America is a game-changer. No surprise that shares in pharma companies plummeted following Trump’s victory.

How many lives did the vaccine really “save” – and how many did it harm?
